Who we are

What we collect

• Contact details you give us when booking a repair (name, email, phone).
• Device details (make, model, fault description, photos you upload).
• Payment confirmation references (we never store full card details — payments are processed by Stripe).
• Basic site analytics (page views, device type, anonymised IP) to improve the website.

Why we use it

• To diagnose, quote and complete your repair (contract performance).
• To send transactional emails about your repair (legitimate interest).
• To send occasional tips and offers — only if you opt in to the newsletter (consent).
• To meet our legal obligations (e.g. accounting records).

How long we keep it

Repair records: 6 years (for warranty and accounting). Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Site analytics: 14 months.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors — Supabase (database & email), Stripe (payments). We never sell your data. Data may be stored on servers in the UK or EU.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Email contact@gatleycomputers.co.uk — we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
